Garden Rules

The garden should be welcoming to everyone. The rules below are designed to help achieve this,

and can be summed up in one request: Please be considerate.

Use of the garden is restricted to residents of 115 - 137 Sutherland Avenue (odd numbers), including guests when accompanied by their host.
Please be considerate of other users of the garden at all times. Noisy or disorderly conduct likely to annoy residents or interfere with the quiet use and enjoyment of the garden is prohibited. This includes speakers and mobile phones. There must be complete quiet in the garden after 11.00pm.
Dogs are not allowed either on or off the lead.
No person shall damage or destroy any trees, shrubs, plants, flowers or the lawns in the garden. Climbing trees is not allowed.
Equipment of any kind used in the garden must be cleared away so that it is not left there overnight. Litter, including cigarette ends should be taken with you.
Ball games may be played by children aged 3 and under. Swingball is permitted by any age. Bicycles, scooters and drones are not permitted.
Please ensure the gate is kept locked at all times.
No barbecues on the grass of the garden are permitted.
Permission must be obtained to hold a garden party. Please be considerate and ensure that your immediate neighbours are informed of the likely location and time.

The above regulations are made in accordance with the Rentcharge Deed and Transfer dated 28th August 1981. They are legally enforceable against Freeholders and Tenants.
